Village Information:

Gross Jetscha was founded in 1767 and lies 32 km NW of Temesvar (Temeschwar).

Town Map

The population in 1910 was 2,535 of which 93.1% were German; in 1930 there were 2,290 inhabitants German) and in 1977 the population was (92% 2,978.

The Postal Code is 1952 and the village does not have its own railroad station. The nearest station is in Carpinis (Gertianosch).
