Clean up of the Budapest cemetery was
spearheaded by Our Lady of Perpetual Help
Catholic Church's Youth group and other members of the church
located in
Carrolton, GA. Members
of the local
Chamber of Commerce and the Historical Society were present. There
were about 50 visitors to the cemetery Sunday, most were busy working
hard to clean up the very overgrown cemetery. I was among those
who weren't working, but I took before and after photos to show what a
great job these dedicated workers did. An All Souls Mass concluded the
day.

Haralson County Historical Society and I shared a mutual interest in the
original colonist of the little town of Budapest.
