Footprints on Our Hearts List . . ."You have looked in your books,
you have done time-consuming
research, you translate
documents, you create web pages,
and you share what you have
learned...
you are truly
friends and we thank you!"

The DVHH
Project always appreciates, and is in need
of, those who can volunteer to work with us
in any capacity. Whether it be assisting
with the preparation of materials to be
published, answering email queries, starting
a new village website, performing look
ups, mentoring, serving on the
administrative team, or any other ideas you
have to share. We believe everyone has
something they can offer. Come join our
group of 'Helping Hands' and help us make
our site even more helpful to fellow
researchers. Just ask one of us! Read

The DVHH would like to have your
membership support to help us continue the Donauschwaben
legacy into the future. The DVHH maintains, preserves and
shares a unique and unparalleled free collection of
Donauschwaben resources on our premier website, telling the
rich stories of our past and making them available to a new
generation. Read more about our
Membership.
Our project volunteers are not professional genealogists,
but many can provide you with the same
information. If you are looking for specific
information regarding your family, or
need assistance in your research,
please subscribe to our mailing list
sponsored by Rootsweb -
DVHH-L Mailing
List
,
administered by
Roy Engel & Eve Brown.
Address your
request to the entire list, and thereby
increase your chances for better
and faster results, and your
message will be archived in the Rootsweb
database.
Note: If you contact a
volunteer privately, be patient if
they do not respond as quickly as
you want them to, they are busy
helping others.
Check
the regional section for your particular
area of interest, and the lookups section to
see if your needs can be met there, before
contacting an advisor. Please read
"Posting an inquiry" before
you
send an email asking for assistance.
When sending an email, please
contact a designated advisor by subject matter. We do acknowledge and sympathize
problems with spam, but as a courtesy,
please DO NOT expect a reply which will require an advisor
to submit a form to clear your
spam acceptance program.
Most important, if
you receive a reply and are provided
information,
send a "thank you." Please do
not request information that you have
previously received from someone else,
to "double-check" your sources. This is
a waste of time for all concerned.
~ Please see our
Lookup Request Manners.
