TEICHMANN – Franklin Russell Teichmann, 9, of Bordentown, NJ, died 2 July 1986. Survived by parents, Erwin & Madaline R. Teichmann; brother, Paul Teichmann of  Bordentown; maternal grandmother, Madaline Rickard of Florence, AL; paternal grandparents, Gabriel [Palankaer] & Katherine Teichmann of Jacksonville, FL. TEICHMANN – Sophie Teichmann David, of Jacksonville, Springfield Township, NJ passed away Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family. She was 88. Sophie was born in Batschka-Palanka, Yugoslavia, and came to America in 1949. Sophie and her late husband, Nicholas David, raised their family on a dairy farm located in Springfield. Sophie was a loving and outstanding mother and Oma, an avid gardener, and wonderful cook. She was a life member of the German-American Society of Yardville, N.J., an organization she loved very much. Sophie is survived by her four children, Diana Grover (Warren) of Pemberton Township, Rosemary Molton of Westampton Township, Annette Knighten (Tony) of Springfield Township, and Kenneth David of Springfield Township; four grandchildren, David Molton of Mount Laurel, Venessa Flohr (Bob) of Middletown, Del., Robert Waite of Springfield Township, and Eric Waite of Sturgis, Mich. THIEL - Joseph Thiel COLUMBUS - Joseph Thiel, 75, of Columbus passed away Monday at home, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Thiel was born in Filipovo, Yugoslavia. He immigrated to the United States from Germany on Oct. 28, 1955. He was a resident of Yardville for most of his life before moving to Columbus in 2003. He became a citizen and proudly served in the US Army. He retired from Sanlar Corp. as a tool-and-die maker in 2000. He was a life member of the German American Society where he was past president; he served on the board of directors and as secretary of the GAK Soccer Association. A parishioner of St. Vincent DePaul Church in Yardville, Mr. Thiel enjoyed watching soccer and was a fan of the Phillies and Eagles. Son of the late Simon and Anna (Reger) Thiel, he is survived by his wife, Barbara (Hoenisch) Thiel; they would have been married 50 years this May. He also leaves his son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Robin Thiel of Hamilton Square; daughter and son-in- law, Brenda and Vincent Tripicchio of Moorestown, NJ; four grandchildren, Caitlin and Ryan Thiel, and Emma and Vincent Tripicchio; two sisters, Rose Menning of Yardville and Elizabeth Calasso and Irving Teichmann of Columbus. Also surviving are brothers- in-law and sisters-in-law, Valentine and Elizabeth Hoenish and Joseph and Katherine Hoenisch, all of Yardville; two aunts, Elizabeth Beismann and Maria Friedrich, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Yardville. Interment will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Church, 555 Yardville Allentown Road, Yardville NJ 08620 or to Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.

THOMAS - Theresa Thomas of Middle Village died on March 11, 2007 at the age of 92. A native of Sekitsch, Yugoslavia. Interment on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Linden Hill Cemetey.  Times Newsweekly, Ridgewood, NY. Submitted by Noelle Giesse.

TIEFENBACH (Tiffenbach) – Jacob Tiefenbach, 91, of Hollywood, FL, died 3 March 2010.  Born in [Palanka] Yugoslavia.  Survived by children, John, Peter, Stephen, Chris & Eric; grandchildren, Lauren & Timothy, Brooke and sister-in-law, Christine.  Buried at Hollywood Memorial Gardens.  Palanka OSB Family #12149. TIFFENBACH  (Tiefenbach)– Frank J. Tiffenbach, 90, of Hamilton Township, NJ, died 28 February 2014. Son of late Sebastian & Theresa Alt Tiffenbach [Palankaers] and  husband of  late Josephine J. Bac Tiffenbach. Father of  late James Tiffenbach & brother of late Elizabeth Garsky. Survived by sons & daughters-in-law, Steven F.  & Elaine Tiffenbach of  Highlands Ranch, CO and David J. & Eileen T. Tiffenbach of South Plainfield, NJ; daughters & sons-in-law, Susan E. & William Cirullo of Pennington, NJ and Judy t. & Michael Balint of Robbinsville, NJ; seven grandchildren; three Great-Granddaughters and several nieces & nephews. TILLMAN – Theresa Tillman Oswald, 74, of Trenton, NJ, died 5 August 1935.  Widow of George Oswald, survived by daughters, Mrs. Catherine Keller, of Trenton, Mrs. Theresa Miller  & Mrs. Rose Shoemaker, of Austria; step-daughters, Mrs. Eva Schumney, of Austria & Mrs. Mary Pohl, of Chicago, IL; step-sons, Joseph Oswald, of Trenton and Anthony & Gregory Oswald, of Austria; brothers, Florian & Martin Tillman, of Austria; sister, Mrs. Frances Zoss, of Trenton; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. TITZLER - Theresa Titzler Samson, 88, of Campbellford, ON and formerly of Kitchener-Waterloo, ON, died on July 20, 1991 at Campbellford Memorial Hospital.  Born in the Banat in Traunau (Alunis), Austria-Hungary (Romania) on December 28, 1903 to the late Barbara Schankula and Franz Titzler. Survived by her husband, Frank Samson of Campbellford, ON, whom she married at Our Lady of Peace Church in Niagara Falls,on April 27, 1935. Survived also by her son, James of Toronto, Caroline (Mrs. Larry Halk) of Newmarket, Barbara (Mrs. Hank Willis) of Campbellford, and Terry (Mrs. John Adach) of Mississauga, and six grandchildren, Janet and Christopher Samson, Sara and Stephen Halk, and Jennifer and John Adach. Buried at St. Mary's Cemetery, Campbellford.  Campbellford Herald and Kitchener-Waterloo Record, July, 1991.

VAS – Joseph A. Vas, 84, of Whiting, NJ, died 13 May 2013. Born in Trenton, NJ, raised in Hungary, returned to Trenton, NJ, resided in Bucks County, PA for 39 years before moving to Whiting in 2003.  Son of  late Kalman & Magdalena Vas [Palankaers] and father, of late Victor Vas.  Survived by wife, Marie Mayer Vas; son & daughter-in-law, Joseph K. & Marlene Vas of  Montgomeryville, PA; brothers & sisters-in-law, Rose Kernast, Anna Hahn, Nicholas & Sally Mayer; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
