About Us
The Donauschwaben Villages' Helping Hands Project (DVHH) is a non-profit, non-denominational, non-political group of researchers of Donauschwaben descent.
Our Mission is to collect and publish historical and genealogical information for the former Danube Swabian villages situated in the six Donauschwaben regions if what was until 1918 the Austro-Hungarian Empire: Swabian Turkey, Banat, Batschka, Smyrna, Slavonia and Bosnia.
We offer a repository of information specific to Donauschwaben genealogy and in many cases we can offer one-to-one assistance to fellow researchers, and provide.
If you would like to participate in this project, please read our Volunteer Guidelines. The DVHH team would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our site and hope you receive the guidance needed to further your research.
Send suggestions, questions and concerns to one of the DVHH Administration:

PC Comments: I want to thank the DVHH Administration and the Village Coordinators who have worked diligently to prepare their sites and who are taking an active role in the project. Without you this undertaking could not be a success.
