Villages of interest to you: Kreuzstatten, Firiteaz, Arad

Comments: I am researching the Schuller name.  My great-grandfather was Nikolaus Schuller and he was married to Eva Lehmann.  They moved to Firiteaz in 1909.  Do anyone have any suggestions as I can get church records?

I did find out that there was a Vogel family in Kreuzstatten.  Cliff, please contact me, telling me a name, and I will be more than happy to look it up.

How did you learn about the DVHH site?: Google

Comments/suggestions about the Project: Very enlightening.

Surnames you are researching: Mueller

Villages of interest to you: Resita

Comments: My mother's family lived in Resita, in Str Oituzului or Str cel Mare.  Moriz and Katharine were my grandparents, of Austrian descent.  Their children were Leah, Erika, Walter and Herta, my mother.  I know little of my grandparents except that both died during WW2, my grandmother killed by Russian soldiers.

I often wonder if I have family still in the area.  My first cousins now live in Austria or Germany.  I believe that there are more distant relations still living in Romania.

I also wonder if anyone remembers my mother.  She's still alive, living in England as she has done since 1946.

Comments/suggestions about the Project: I think it's a great site for research.

Surnames you are researching: Manes, Mannes

Villages of interest to you: Klenak, Irig, Apatin

Comments: I'm a novice researcher trying to find information about my father's family who left Klenak, Yugoslavia during WW II.  The surnames are Mannes or Manes.  My grandmother's maiden name was Fellinger.

I don't know where to go to find information about Klenak or the town of Irig where my grandmother was born.  Apatin and Ruma are also places where there may be information about the family.  In addition, I am looking for information about the camp my father's family lived in after being forced to leave Klenak.  The camp was in Austria and was called Gradig (or something like it)

Any information or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I tell a lot of people about the DVHH and the great info to be found. But best of all the great friends and family I found and made.
