Elek, Renndorf, the German name or Aletea, the Romanian name is a town in Békés county, in the Southern Great Plain region of south-east Hungary, just north of Arad, Romania.

The bronze Danube Swabian sculptures are in the center of Elek, a donation of the emigrants to there home village.
