The Häkelschuhe
were made by Katharina Kopp for her grand
daughter Birgitt in accordance to the traditions
of the Donauschwaben footwear worn in their
homes. Even in the United States Katharina wore
such shoes on a daily bases in her house in
Cleveland. |
