Kegler (nee Pappert) - Katharina Kegler, of 199 Spyglass Hill Drive in Bloomsburg, PA, died on August 19, 2010 at the home of her daughter, Lydia Kegler and her son-in-law, Prof. Luke Springman. Prior to moving to be with their daughter, she and her husband, Michael, lived on Deborah Drive, Lemay, for nearly 50 years. Mrs. Kegler was born on Feb. 17, 1922 in the German-speaking village of Sackelhausen, Banat, Romania to Jakob Pappert and Anna Lauer Pappert. After immigrating to the United States in 1951, she and her husband operated a flourishing custom tailoring business in Downtown St. Louis for more than 40 years. Katharina possessed a tremendous joy for life and a gift for compassion. She embraced life and people with an unhesitating generosity. Above all, she dearly loved her husband of 71 years, Michael, her cherished daughter, Lydia and her beloved pets. She was her daughter's life long best friend. She will be profoundly missed by her family. Mrs. Kegler was preceded in death by her husband, Michael (March 2010); an infant son; her brothers, Jakob and Johann Pappert; and, recently, her cousin, Heinrich Lauer of Germany. She is survived by her daughter, Lydia Katharina Kegler and sonin-law, Luke Springman; and her favorite nephew, John Pappert and his wife, Ann of St. Louis. Survived by wife, Ursula Arendt Kipper; son, Peter Kipper & wife Audrey; brother, Lorenz Kipper & wife Agnes; and several grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Buried at Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. KIRCHNER, Rudy. May 26, 1933 - November 7, 2008. Passed away peacefully at the age of seventy-five. Predeceased by his son, Ron. Loving father to Michele, Rose, and Leesa and brother to Fred. Proud grandfather to Mandi, Ashley, Andrea, Symon, Alyssa, Indy and Stone.  He will be sadly missed by his companion Otti, and extended family and friends.  Visitation was held at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, 307 Riverside Dr., St. Lambert, on Monday, November 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a chapel service to follow. Rudy was dedicated to the Donauschwaben Village of Rudolfsgnad in Banat, web mastering one of the first DS village sites in English. Rudy was among the first DVHH village Coordinators and we all miss him very much. Since his death, his brother Manfred Kirchner, maintains the web site.

KOHLHEB – Elisabeth Kohlheb of Ridgewood died on December 7, 2007 at the age of 82. A native of Torscha, Yugoslavia, she was the widow of the late Karl, dear sister of Erich Schmidt. Religious services were held at the Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapel, 663 Grandview Avenue, Ridgewood officiated by Reverend Albert Potgeiter followed by interment in Linden Hill Cemetery. KOLBRICH - John 85 years, passed away on November 12, 2012 at Banwell Gardens. Reunited with his beloved wife Paula, parents Fabian and Maria, brothers Adam and Josef, and sisters Katharina and Anna. Loving Dad to Erika and John, [father-in-law to Brenda], and Opa to Philip and Julianna. Survived by sister Magdalena and many nieces and nephews. Displaced during WWII from his home in Croatia, he made his way to England, where he met and married Paula in 1950, and from there emigrated to Canada in 1952. Trained as a tool and die maker, he worked at Ford Motor Company for many years, but was best remembered for his little orchard close to the airport, where he grew apples, rhubarb and other produce. John was a long time member of St. Michael’s Church and most recently St. Anne’s Church. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. at Banwell Rd. on Thursday from 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 PM. Parish prayers Thursday at 7:30 PM. KRETER – Theresia Kreter, of Ridgewood died on May 13, 2003 at the age of 97. A native of Kisker, Yugoslavia, she was the widow of the late Adam, devoted mother of Adam Kreter, Theresia Gross and Rosina Schuy, dear mother-in-law of Helga, dear grandmother of Heinrich and Heidi; also survived by three great-grandchildren. Services were held at the Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Avenue, Ridgewood, officiated by Reverend Bell, followed by interment in Linden Hill Cemetery. May 22, 2003. KREUTZER - Antonia Kreutzer Antonia Kreutzer, of Yardley, PA died 28 January, 2013 peacefully at her home with her family. Antonia was born on March 30, 1930 in Zenta, Yugoslovia. She immigrated to the U.S. in 1956 with her husband, Karl, and her daughter, Ruth, to join her parents, Aurelia and Peter Grueling. In 1951, she married the love of her life, Karl and had three children, Ruth Kreutzer Herbert, Karl Kreutzer Jr. and Robert Kreutzer. Her son, Robert, married Barbara Ovington and they gave Antonia her two cherished grandchildren, Nicholas William and Braeden Austin Karl Kreutzer, who were the lights of her life. Antonia spent many years as an active member of the United German Hungarian Club where she was one of the founding members of the cultural group of the club.
