Donauschwaben Museums
Donauschwäbisches Zentralmuseum - Ulm, Germany

The museum houses a diverse collection of cultural artifacts associated with the Danube Germans. Its state-of-the-art specialist library contains an extensive collection of Danube German literature. Around 200 pictures bear testimony to the artistic work of this ethnic group. A history exhibition room is devoted to the history of their old homeland and to the theme of "Refugees and Deportation". A typical Danube German room with authentic furniture is regarded as the museum's center piece.

Adam Müller Guttenbrunn House - (well-known prose-writer of the Swabian ethnic community in the Banat) poet and theatrical director, born 1852 died in Guttenbrunn/Zabrani in the Banat, 1923 in Vienna.

Democratic Forum for the Germans of Billed - The Democratic Forum in the homeland community of Billed was formed after the political turn in March of 1990, for the protection of interests of the Germans in Billed.  They have a very nice museum there.

Josef Nischbach Center - This center is home accommodates about 40 Banater Swabian elderly people.  In America we would call this a nursing home.  The residents enjoyed us touring about, so I took a few photos to remember them. (Ingolstadt, Germany)
