Tremmel Family of Elek

First I was at the church in Elek and from the secretary received some hand written notes about some Tremmel ancestors.  Since they didn't have a copy machine she has to write it by hand.  The lady promised to write out everything she finds, but it will take some time.  She knows my uncle well and as soon as she has finished, will give it to him and he will send it to me.

I've been at the town hall and got the name of the person in Germany (Written on a small piece of paper) who does the same like our HOGs.   Unfortunately she didn't even know the city where he lives, but also promised to phone me as soon as she gets further information.

Axente & I searched for the graves with the Tremmel name and found one in a special section of the cemetery, designated for the Germans who left Elek. There were other Tremmel names on the memorial stone for those who died during the war.

Reported by Axente/Renate Formann.
