The Village of Klopodia was part of the Compulsory  Resettlement from the Banat to the Baragan Steppe in the Summer of 1951.  Leo Campeanu remembers the deportation with his mother, Hella Campeanu.  'Life in the Baragan' The couple in the first picture below are Karol and Elisabeth Rieger, grandparents of Leo Campeanu, who were also deported to the Baragan in 1951.
